STAFF IZABELLA GARFIAS
Bella was born and raised by her mother in Santa Barbara, along with two brothers and a sister. Bella attended all local schools, including San Marcos High School where she participated in the Entrepreneurship Academy and was the CEO of a local non-profit organization, Kids Helping Kids. During this time, Bella’s first job was at a restaurant start-up, Corazon Cocina, where she deepened her love for entrepreneurship. This experience allowed her to see the numerous opportunities the business realm could have for her if she continued in this direction. After graduation she decided to attend the University of San Diego to major in Business Administration and Marketing. Within the first year of living in a new city and going to a new school, she decided to participate in different clubs and organizations such as Accounting club, Entrepreneurship club, Fashion club, and Swing dancing club and more. Bella is taking a gap year at USD and is excited to join the Heritage House team as their Business Associate.
Although Bella found joy in the business realm, she is also passionate about drawing, painting, fashion and all types of design. She spent most of her childhood drawing on anything she could, even the wall. Bella always finds the fun in picking her daily outfits as her motto is “if you want to work well, dress well”. This side to Bella can be credited to her mother and older sister who trained her into the woman she is today. Every time you enter the door you will see her behind the desk eager and happy to help in any way she can.
